It was a wild day today. The plan is to put concrete for footings on Sunday the day after tomorrow. The borewell is sitting idle for a few days now since there is no motor in it. Finally after a lot of screaming from mom I decided to finalise on the pumpset. I was waiting because relatives promised a good deal but since it was almost a week and no updates on it, I went ahead and called up a few places from just dial and finalised on one fellow. I didn't pay attention to the length of the electrical wire and it fell short of the plug point in the old house. Ofcorse, people (neighbours) had to pounce on it and say some nonsense :-) It was just a matter of going to a shop near by and getting some more length of wire...
Power conked as soon as all wiring was done and didn't come back for 2 hours. The installation person decided to leave when the power came back! The pump was checked up and later after mom came did pooja. The water is still muddy but hoping it will clear soon.
Just for record I got a Suguna 1.5HP pump with 14 stages. :-)
